General characteristics of the species
Bone fish. Long, oval body. Silvery gray, shiny, almost white with 5 black crossbands. It has 1 black spot on the caudal pedicle. The dorsal, caudal and anal fins are gray in color with a black border. It can reach a total length of about 40 cm.
