General characteristics of the species

Cartilaginous fish, can live up to about 1000 m in depth. It has seven gill openings on each side of the head. The body has a gray color, darker on the back. The wind is white. The young specimens have the tip of the black dorsal and caudal fins. It can reach a total length of up to about 2.5 m.
