General characteristics of the species
Catilaginous fish. With five gill openings. Round black eyes. Two dorsal fins, the first being larger than the second. Pectoral fins very large and somewhat curved. With anal fin. Dark blue in color on the back, lightening on the sides. White belly. It can reach a total length of up to about 5 m.
