General characteristics of the species
Bone fish. It essentially inhabits rocky bottoms, between 0-90 m deep. Brownish red in color, it presents around 4 to 5 dark rectangular spots along the body, alternating with lighter vertical lines. It can reach a total length of up to about 43 cm.
